Aramid is a great performer in extreme abrasive environments. Aramid fiber strands can be individually treated with a PTFE coating and a light, inert oil to improve resistance to caustics, mild acids, chemicals, air, oil gases, and solvents.

CARBON GRAHPITE
Proprietary carbon fiber is braided to operate in extreme conditions.
Because of its high thermal conductivity and lubricity, this packing can operate without flush water in some applications.
CARBON PTFE
Multi-Lok braided high-purity carbon fibers made from a PAN base, with a minimum carbon content of 95.0%.
(Staple fibers from PAN produce a more flexible packing than filament fibers, which tends to fracture when bent.
Each individual strand is coated with pure PTFE and cured before braiding. During the braiding process, pure PTFE is applied throughout the body of the packing.
The packing is lubricated under hydraulic pressure with a proprietary nonpetroleum lubricant, containing no sulfur, silicone, or waxes.
CARBON GRAPHITE
ML4460 is treated throughout with graphite.
It is recommended for general service on rotary and reciprocating shaft and as end rings on high-temperature valves.
CARBON INCINEL WIRE
Braided carbon yarn with Inconel wire inserted over a pliable homogeneous core of material.
The braid is made from a high temperature, Inconel wire inserted yarn. The finished packing is treated with a high temperature graphite lubricant and a corrosion inhibitor.
CARBON GRAPHITE JACKET
Finely ground particles of the highest quality graphite encapsulated in the PTFE matrix to eliminate graphite migration, with aramid corners.

PTFE HIGH SPEED
The most severe services. All oxidizers and corrosives with one exception: Molten alkali metals. Use this specially treated PTFE packing where other PTFE filament glazed or gotten hard because of frictional heat due to high speeds and thermal expansion.
PTFE FDA
ML2240 provides a softer and more flexible packing with shaft speeds up to 3,300 feet per minute (fpm). It performs well in color-sensitive environments. ML2240 complies with the FDA and USDA requirements under Title 21 Food and Drugs, 178.2570, Lubricants with Incidental Food Contact, 177.1550, Perfluorocarbon Resins.
PTFE NON-WICKING
SEPCO® ML2254 PTFE fibers are treated with a PTFE dispersion which fills and seals all voids in the packing body. After braiding, a PTFE coating is applied. This packing will not wick making it an excellent choice for valves, hatch seals and inspection port seals.
This family of PTFE is constructed from an expanded TFE that encapsulates graphite or a proprietary lubricant.
The expansion process creates a micro-structure that has a higher strength than TFE filament yarns. Encapsulated TFE yarn can be treated with special lubricants that contain no sulfur, silicone, or wax.

ML3600 is engineered with an expanded PTFE/graphite composite fiber for wide ranging plant applications,
including aggressive fluids and high temperatures.

Hollow Core packings are specifically designed to seal large rotating equipment like mixers and agitators.
EPTFE GRAPHITE ARAMID
A combination braid of PTFE/Graphite/Aramid fibers. This construction provides the strength of aramid fibers and the heat dissipating and lubricating qualities of the PTFE and graphite matrix.
PTFE GRAPHITE
PTFE fibers specially treated with finely ground particles of graphite to increase thermal conductivity and reduce thermal expansion resulting in higher shaft speeds.
Flax is an economical solution used to construct packing for brine, cold water, and cold oils. Flax packing can be impregnated with PTFE that acts as a surface leveler that fills in voids in the packing.
FLAX WAX
Packing is constructed with a square braid and lubricated with a pure edible tallow and wax compound,

Highest quality vegetable fiber. All bark, coarse and short fibers have been removed.

ACRYLIC PTFE
Use this specially treated PTFE packing where economy, high wet strength, low abrasion and low friction are required.
Recommended for shafts and sleeves and is an appropriate choice for stern tubes on ships.

General purpose packing with a reinforced special blend of fibers. Thoroughly impregnated with PTFE suspension.

Injectable Packing. Injectable Packing allows you to pack a pump (or Valve) while it in Service! If you have a pump that keeps slowing production because the pump leaks, you have to shut down the pump, remove the packing, install new braided packing and finally start up again.
Packing installed without the Seat-It System results in the outer two rings doing more than 75% of the sealing.
