Composites  materials do not contain toxic or harmful materials. Composites is self-lubricating, therefore eliminates the need to introduce external lubricants such as greases which can be carried away by water or heat. Composite bearings can be designed for freeze-fit, press-fit, mechanically fasten, or bonding.

Wear Rings

One Team wear rings can be manufactured to customer’s specifications or our experts can provide recommendations. They are designed with a specific gap allowing the material to expand without seizing in the cylinder. 


The recommended gap considers the rate of thermal expansion and is best determined according to the OD of the wear ring.

Bearings

(ID) grooved bearings are environmentally friendly and ideal in fresh or salt water environments. The axial grooves running down the ID surface provide water flow and lubrication to the bearing allowing for high speed applications and provide a hydrodynamic operation for long life and very low friction.

Pads

Wear Pads or low coefficient of friction, dimensional stability, and impact toughness of the CIP material offers excellent performance in many wear pad installations. 


Segmented Wear Pads or environmentally friendly, self-lubricating wear pads can be machined in segments to provide axial and radial support for larger diameter installations.

Electrical Insulators

Non-graphite material that is both a non-conducting and non-magnetic composite material that can be used as an insulator.


Thermal Insulation

Material grades that have dimensional stability in elevated temperatures up to 400° and functions as insulators, reducing the transfer of heat.


Galvanic Isolation

Non-conducting materials that will not corrode, eliminating galvanic corrosion caused by the contact of dissimilar metals and alloys.

  • Polyester with no solid lubricants added.
  • Polyester (textile and resin) with PTFE.  Safe for indirect contact with food – FDA: Title 21 parts 107-199.
  • Polyester and PTFE combined textile and a high-grade marine polyester resin with the solid lubrication additives PTFE and molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) 
  • Meta-aramid textile and a high temperature vinyl ester resin with the solid lubricant PTFE.
