Neoprene faced phenolic gaskets have long been used as a standard insulating gasket in the gas and oil industries because the soft neoprene rubber provides good sealing qualities.
In these gaskets, neoprene sheets are factory bonded to both sides of a laminate phenolic sheet to give good sealing qualities and high electrical resistance.
Phenolic gaskets are manufactured from laminated phenolic material, which provide insulation between the flange faces.
It is difficult to obtain an effective seal unless standard 1/16" service gaskets are used with them.
Type F will fit only the raised face surface of the flanges. The outside diameter of the gasket is slightly less than the inside diameter of the bolt circle.
It is recommended that the flanges are wrapped with Flange Band Protectors to prevent foreign material from collecting and creating a bridge, thus shorting out the isolation.
Type E is a full face gasket with the same OD as the flange .

Type D gaskets are designed to fit into the ring groove of RTJ.
We also offer BX gaskets. Both are available in grade CR phenolic.
Single washer sets may be used to allow the Catholic Protection current to reach the nuts and bolts.

Double washer sets may be used for added protection, double washers sets also electrically isolates the nuts and and bolts from both flanges.
Easy to install one piece sleeves also allow the inspector a visual indication of sleeve usage.

G-10 insulating washers are recommended for flange ratings 600# and above
The Step-KO Products easy to use polyethylene snap-on caps offer a maximum protection from rust on both the bolt and nut. The model 1 vertical snap section fits under the nut and creates the perfect press fit of sealing lip and snap cap over the bolt and nut connection where minimum threads are exposed.

SHAIC HS-340 is a heat-shrinkable wraparound sleeve designed for corrosion protection of field-welded joints of plastic coated steel pipelines. It has a thick cross linked polyethylene backing coated with butyl rubber based mastic sealant or hot melt adhesive. Hot Melt or Mastic shall depend on project requirements. When heated the backing layer shrinks and the sealant flows and forms a reliable corrosion protection seal onto metal and adjacent coating surfaces. Cut Sleeve is normally supplied with separate Patch Closure, which is coated with a high shear-strength adhesive; however, there are different types and sizes to comply with individual requirements. It is supplied in bulk rolls as well, and has super-heavy duty, heavy duty and regular thickness.
Moisture Seal utilizes the combination of the SK2400 gel filler and the seal capabilities of the SM-65A fabric tape to form a moisture barrier between the concrete ring and steel ring interface. The chime seal tape is gray in color and is U/V resistant. The seal provides excellent adhesion characteristics to both the steel and concrete surfaces.
