EXP is a true non-contact bearing isolator.
Utilizing vertical internal cambers, centrifugal force adds energy to contamination
while effectively retaining lubrication. Two static internal coalescing O-rings exclude vapor
ingress by breaking it down and directing it to the contamination exclusion chambers.
Can be split for ease of installation.
Bearing seals allow oil mist to escape into the atmosphere leading to volume loss and constant housekeeping issues.
Also allows for outside contamination to enter the bearing housing.
The Defender is always on guard !
The EXP bearing isolator design not only inhibits moister vapors but also blocks oil vapors from escaping. Also prevents outside contamination from entering the housing.
Bottom line nothing enters or leaves
Flange mount designs are used in applications where a more secure mount is needed.
EXP Steam Turbine Bearing Isolator (TB) revolutionary HYBRID design features provide bearing protection on process steam turbines in high or low temperature environments.
EXP-TB for steam turbines where steam is coalesced before it reaches the bearing housing.
Gearbox Bearing Isolators cutting-edge designs are used on a variety gearbox designs which prevents wear, lubrication loss and prevents contamination.
Pillow block bearings typically fail from contamination entering the bearing housing and lubrication escaping.
SEPCO EXP Bearing Isolator are design to fit directly into the groove of LER or LOR the pillow block.
Windings and bearings are the most critical components of electric motors and are designed to operate for many years, yet they consistently fail prematurely due to lubrication loss and contamination.
EXP Bearing Isolators flexible cutting-edge designs protects the motor windings and bearings from external contamination.
Bearings are one of the most critical components of pumps and are designed to operate for years, however they fail prematurely due to lubrication loss and contamination.
Prevent costly downtime and maintenance costs by utilizing EXP Bearing Isolators.
The Defender is always on guard !
The revolutionary HYBRID design of the EXP Bearing Isolator flexible designs are easily adaptable to your unique application and operating environment.
With our Bearing Isolators nothing enters or leaves the bearing housing, nothing !
With engineering, design and a support team we are here to HELP you beat your tough problems, we love a challenge the unusual and seemingly impossible.
The team is waiting to resolve your problems.
Lubricant itself is not the cost concern, but rather the negative effects of poor lubricant has on the equipment and the operation.
Ineffective contamination control will increase component wear and decrease the overall performance of the equipment. This can be avoided by using the only non-contact bearing isolator on the market Sepco EXP Bearing Isolator.
Lubricants are typically less than 2 percent of a plant's maintenance budget. But losses due to poor lubrication can amount 20 percent of a plant’s maintenance budget
ONE TEAM will help you stop contamination and increase profits.
ONE TEAM Can help STOP bearing failures.

he number one job of a shaft seal is to keep your oil clean.
Within a few months or less an oil seal is allowing the enemy a wide-open door to your bearings.
Labyrinth seal does a better job over an oil seal, but the enemy quickly finds the weakness of a labyrinth seal and once again the bearing is under assault and failing again.
SEPCO EXP is a hybrid labyrinth design + SEPCO’s EXP technology. EXP will defend your bearings from the enemies never ending attacks. EXP only knows how to win; failure is not an option.
LET'S TALK
Oil changes means contamination has found away into your system and is going to cause your bearings and equipment to fail.
Number of oil changes needed by seal type Over 3 years.
EXP will pay for it self based on oil changes along.
MAKE THE CHANGE TO EXP
Dirty oil will cause the bearings in your equipment to fail ! It is amazing how little dirt is needed to stop your equipment from functioning.
The most common entrance for the enemy (dirt & water) to get into your oil is through a failed seal.
SEPCO EXP is the clear winner !
Shaft Seals – often called oil, grease, fluid or dirt seals – close spaces between stationary and moving components in mechanical equipment, helping prevent lubricant escape.
They also stop harmful contaminants from entering machinery, particularly in severe environments. Vital components of practically every type of machine and vehicle in operation, oil seals protect all types of precision-constructed, close-fitting ball, sleeve and roller bearings.
Common Metals (Spring and Case)
Common Sealing Elastomers
The primary function of a rotary shaft seal is to retain bearing system lubricants therefore allowing the bearings to operate in optimal levels of lubrication.
Shaft Seal Construction
The V-seal is an rubber seal that mounts directly on the shaft and seals axially against counterface, housing, seal case or similar surface.
The long flexible lip is design to act like a mechanical face seal. It can retain lubricants and exclude contaminants. V-seal can be used as a primary seal or as a secondary back-up seal.
If performs well in dry applications and is capable of handling a greater amount of eccentricity and misalignment than most radial lip type seals.
Elastomers
Nitrile most commonly used material / good oil resistance
FKM best chemical resistance
Common Profiles
If V-Seal are used to retain oil, they should always be located axially on the shaft on the lubricant side and should not be submerged.
V-Seals are often used as secondary seals when it is necessary to protect the sealing lip and housing bore of the primary seal against contaminants or corrosion.
The V-Seal can also act as a grease valve, where used grease or excess new grease can escape between the housing bore and the sealing lip.
V-Seal should be arranged outside the housing cover or housing wall. Dust, water spray and other contaminants can be excluded in this position
ONE TEAM supplies one of the most complete selections for rotary shaft seals and rotary lip seals.
Rotary and radial lip seals are machined to meet your requirements.
ONE TEAM only uses premium grade industrial plastics and elastomers to insure the best performance.
